We are printing 5,000 copies and donating the books to kids at local elementary schools in the tri-county area, whose art programs have been affected by budget cuts. WeMerge selected me, along with 14 amazing artists, to participate in this project. This piece will be featured in the coloring book along with a short bio. The book will be 36 pages and will be on a thick white paper which holds up nice to colored pencils, crayons, and markers. This is all a charity for the kids, so we are sure the project will have no problem raising the money needed to print. Each artist has donated their designs. The money raised for the project will be used to print the coloring book. The typography reads, "Imagination goes a long way," and although a child may not be able to read this now and make sense of it, I'm sure he/she will have fun coloring it in.
